Inspire Church

Inspire Church (formerly Liverpool Christian Life Centre) is a Pentecostal Christian church affiliated with Australian Christian Churches, the Assemblies of God in Australia. It is located in Hoxton Park, a South-Western suburb of Sydney, Australia and holds three services, 9:00am, 10:45am and a 6:00pm service. The main building consists of an auditorium which can seat approximately 1,000 people. The church also has a chapel, cafeteria and a gymnasium, and is attended by over 1,100 people each week. The senior pastors are John and Carol McMartin.

History

The church was originally founded in 1952 as Liverpool Assembly of God at the Macquarie Arts Centre. After struggling for 29 years it closed down in 1981, but was re-opened in 1982, with new Pastors John and Carol McMartin and a name Liverpool Christian Life Centre. The Church has grown out of the heart of John and Carol McMartin, over the years LCLC has greatly impacted the South West of Sydney with its many outreach initiatives and has grown considerably to become one of largest churches in both Sydney and Australia, and is currently attended by over 2,800 people each week with a membership of 4,700. . from August 31, 2008 Liverpool Christian Life Centre is now known as Inspire Church

Music

Inspire Church (formerly Liverpool Christian Life Centre) has released several albums, particularly in recent years. In 2002, it recorded and released its first live worship album Because of You. In 2004, the church released a studio recorded album Shout. Several of the main worship team appeared on Youth Alive NSW albums and also have released solo albums. Intensifire 2007 marked the launch of the next Intensifire Album 'Resonate' which is also making its first international release in Europe, USA and Asia. The album features accomplished Christian musicians such as Simon Refalo, Brad Carroll and Shay O'Connor. The church has also released their first ever DVD/CD Album titled Only You which was released in early December 2007.

Conferences

Intensifire

Intensifire is an annual conference held in April as of 2011 but formerly during October at Inspire Church. Intensifire is emerging as one of Australia’s premier youth and young adult conferences.

Intensifire is held over 3 days at Inspire Church with international and national guest speakers each year. The conference director is Luke McMartin, the son of senior pastors John and Carol McMartin. The Intensifire Band has also released a number of albums.

Inspire Community

Inspire Community, (formerly Vantage Community Services) is a non-profit organisation. The Managing Director of Inspire Community is Mike Meyer. Inspire Community Centres are places that people can go to for help, support and also counseling.

Inspire College

Inspire College, (formerly Sydney Training Institute) is an initiative of Inspire Church, located 40 minutes from Sydney CBD. The aim of the institute is to equip leaders for an effective life of service in the church. The College is registered with VETAB and its courses are nationally accredited.
